Title: Discovery Aftermarket Stereo & Rear Door Speaker Connection
Post by: karlo on September 24, 2008, 12:18:47: I wired my rear door subwoofers up to an aftermarket stereo in my late 95 Disco ES

Got one of these plugs of E Bay (Â£16) to make the rear subs work!

Which was wrong :evil:

Its this plug with just 1 red & 1 black wire coming out of it.

I had to remove the plug from the e bay lead and connect the wires to the plug on the cars loom also connect the RCA plug to one of the stereo preouts.

A bit of insulting tape and voilÃ job done :dance:

My Sony XPLOD has a separate power amp lead which i havn't connected yet and I didn't seem to get any output when I tried my red/black wires connected to my pre-amp out socket.
