Dresses aren't good enough, we need to know what they look like in mud
I agree with you on the lonely hearts idea Nigel...bring it on!
I do however feel that your request should of been worded "Wanted: Woman who can cook, clean, open gates, looks good in mud and can read a map"
Not sexist though I was inspired...now I don't think I'm ever going to be able to show my face at a Pay 'n' Play in case there is any females present!!!

Trouble is, I bet you complain like mad when we have to turn the map upside down (getting more and more infrequent i have to say!)!!

Actually I don't as I don't get lost...I simply take the scenic route!

Turning the map upside down is the correct way to navigate! Your map should always be oriented to "ground" to prevent you turning left when you should turn right... so well done and keep it up!

And for those of you out there who need some "development" or who get "geographically embarresed"... here's a little help courtesy of the OS!

So I should tell Memory-Map to rotate the image according to my direction of travel then?

If there is going to be a "Wanted Female Navigator" section, I feel that it is only fair that there should also be a "Wanted Male (must be toned, trim, tall with a sense of humour (brown eyes, all over sun tan)) Navigator" section!
So come on Guys, who can actually read a map?!
-
I know how to read a map, but my eyes are green and sunlight doesn't get on with me.
-
I can thoroughly recommend my better half, Star.
First event out navigating with OS maps on the treasure hunt at the Halloween Howler (gosh was it that long ago!) and we won

I do all of the above - pics in people's galleries to prove it! ;)
Shame you are not in the midlands area, lol. 8-[
Plus you would have to ask Mr Hingmy these days if you could "borrow me". Done the married, been the single, now trying the attached.
