Hi all, my partner has asked me to look for a gasket that goes somewhere near the clutch in the engine bay but i don't know what it's called. He told me that it's something to do with an oil leak.
If anyone could help me out that would be great, Thx

Found out it's called a bell housing gasket, but does anyone know where i can get one from and roughly how much they cost?
Thx, Jez

There is no bellhousing gasket....however, given that you are talking about an oil leak I suspect you need a crankshaft oil seal.
If this is the case then you will have to remove gearbox, clutch and flywheel to fit it.

It could however be the seal for the bottom cover at the rear of the engine, front of the gearbox?

If so, any good parts supplier will be able to help if you can give them the correct part number. Bot the LT77 & R380 gearboxes appear to share the same part the number of which is 594087 and the name is "Seal". Best check we are talking about the same sealand the correct gearbox before ordering though!
Hope that helps.

That rubber seal doesn't prevent oil from coming out - it's there to prevent dirt/water from getting in.
Andyb is correct - it could be the crank rear seal if it's engine oil coming out of the wading plug hole, sump seal (RTV), or maybe the crank rear main bearing T-seals leaking.
T-seal is major work, crank rear seal is also almost as bad major work, and the sump seal is very messy, but not too bad to do.

Mine has always leaked there.... did on my 90 too.... i thought it was a standard Land Rover feature, as with all the other leaks i have :?

It could also be the input shaft oil seal - what kind of oil is coming out? You can loose engine oil or gearbox oil/ATF from the wading plug hole.
We need more info!!

I have just been under mine, and i cleaned it up at the weekend trying to trace a completely different leak, but did what i think is the same area to yours at the same time. Mine id definitely engine oil, and it looks to be originating from the back of the sump.
Could it be the sump gasket? If i remember correctly, thats what i replaced on my old 90 to fix this?
I could be miles out however
