Title: True story from America
Post by: crazymac on October 03, 2008, 00:32:11
Fast food fan Natalie Jackson was hit with a $264 fine at KFC — for staying too long gorging on a monster-sized “family bucket.”

The British trainee nurse and a pal ordered 14 chicken pieces, six bags of fries and large cokes after driving to their local branch.

They spent an hour and a half eating the 5,456-calorie feast. A few days later, KFC regular Jackson got the fine in the mail for breaking the restaurant parking lot’s 75-minute limit.

“It’s disgusting. I spend a lot of money in there. Now I’m never going back,” the 24-year-old fumed Wednesday.

Jackson — who eats at KFC three times a week — complained to the restaurant that she was unaware of signs warning of the time limit in Huddersfield, West Yorks.

The mega bucket cost her $22.

Jackson said that she doesn’t plan on paying the fine.

“It didn’t feel like I was in there all that long. We were hungry.”

A KFC spokesman said: “The 75-minute time limit is designed to accommodate our customers who generally eat for about 30 minutes.”

Let's face it, for someone who eats that diet 3 times a week, she is bleeding slim :D:D:D

  she dwarfs the building!!!

Oh hang on .... I've been told that it's some new fangled thing called Per-spect-ive ... but however .... she needs to eat *less* fast food. KFC are doing her a service by scaring her away. Now she needs to go to the golden arches, the only purveyor of anti-food. Eat their food and come feeling hungrier than when you went in

...and then learn how to eat sensibly.

"hint"

Death: Weight doesn't come into it. My steed has carried armies. My steed has carried cities. Yea, he hath carried all things in their due time. But he's not going to carry you three.

War: Why not?

Death: It's a matter of the look of the thing.

War: It's going to look pretty good, then, isn't it, the One Horseman and Three Pedestrians of the Apocalypse.

Are they sure the fine was for staying to long or for taking up to many spaces in her custom built vehicle?

It is rediculous though. Ive got a couple of crappy cars, might take the plates off them and park them there. Its not even like its near the town centre! or a small car park, its never full.

Mcdonalds is literally next door. Next time i call in at KFC (could be a while) I think i will park in KFC and go to mcdonalds, for 1hr 14 mins.

Just a few observations .

1, Trainee nurse , How can she afford all that chicken , do they make nurses uniform that big , and arn't the NHS supposed to promote health :-k

2, maybe the fine was high because she needed two parking spaces one for the car and one for the backside...

3, have you noticed how big girls dye their hair to make it interesting and pull the eye away from the body , if thats the case then she needs on of these...

I think KFC are doing her a favour, it may save her life in the long run!

I hope that she doesn't live anywhere near the coast - if she went for a swim, there'd be Norwegian whaling ships heading in her direction like a shot, and Greenpeace activists trying to push her back in...

The parking company uses cameras to monitor what time you enter and leave :-k  isn't that breaking some European law on human rights? the very one in fact used to prevent traffic enforcement camera doing exactly the same thing.

I'd be interested to know how they can enforce such a fine, after the event.

I like people like her. Not due to some strange fetish, but when I see folks of that size, it makes me feel a lot slimmer!
I find it interesting about her being a trainee nurse. If I was in hospital and saw that advancing towards me, I'd be out of the bed and out the doors PDQ!

To be fair here some people are larger and that's life. I have no problem at all with that.

Realistically here though if she is going for that much KFC that often then there is only one reason for it.
Added to which the whole image is somewhat questionable.

She got off lucky with the parking fine. I think if she sat still for too long she would need planning permission.
