Woke up to see the disco covered in frost for the first time since i've had it, the bad news is i own a large fridge, but the good news i've got heated mirrors :D
-
Same here .... :)
Thank god for one button programmed de-ice and heated seats/steering wheel
Now I really must start going to work in something warmer than a shirt :(
-
I dont get frost down here, only 1mile from the sea. Lots of wind and Horizontal rain however! (I prefer frost myself)

Heated mirror are cool  just a petty I can't see them due to the misting on inside of door windows on defender would have thought some one would have come up with a few side vent before 2007 wouldn't you.
Hmm Now we have sun in eyes on the way to and from work till a day before we change the clock then I'll have another 2 weeks of in my eyes and having to get up in the dark and cold.
Getting hand stuck to the aluminium gear knob (Tomb Raider LE bit of bling, Burns you in the summer).
Still have the mist lingering in the fields and the colours of Autumn to look forward to the tree which create some very beautiful images on the daily trip down the Fosse to Gaydon.
Wow had ice on the screen this morning, That's a bit early for that here, lets hope that's a sign of a lot of snow in the winter its a long time since I've had chance to play in deep snow.

I had a fully loaded Scorpio a few years ago and was really chuffed when the first proper frost came along.
It had heated mirrors, front and rear screens, maybe even heated seats and keen to show off to the neighbours that I didnt have to do all that scraping nonsense I went out to start the thing up and drive off a few seconds later.
Well I would have done if the doors hadnt been frozen shut
-
yup at 6am after the very chilly dog walk my doors were tricky to open, starter motor did a click then fired into life thankfully, leccy ariel didnt go up so a silent trip into work and took 5 minutes to scrape the windscreen. Must buy some de-icer this year!
The disco sat still all day and behaved and slolwy thawed. You didnt really expect all the above from a land rover did you? It is booked in with local garage on Thurs to have glow plugs wired in to a sepperate switch so I have a chance of starting it!

What I find most annoying is all the ice that ends up in your lap after you've finished scraping the inside of the windscreen.

It was the sun i had a problem with today , don't think the wash n wax in the washers helps . The other prob i have is the light bar fitting acts as a dam for the gutter, when it rains its like a waterfall, it's a pain because i always drive with the window down a touch , anyone else have this prob or is it my "design fault" .

I have this on my Discovery as well, bloomin annoying. I keep meaning to get wind deflector things which should stop it.

Heated mirrors are cool
Err... Have you checked the fuse? ;)
I go to work on the train, and I have to admit that I don't miss having to scrape the windows in the morning. My last car was a nightmare - you'd sit with the engine running to de-mist the windscreen, then as soon as you moved off it would mist up again. Or re-freeze.
Maybe I'll get to try the heated windscreen, mirrors and seats in my Freelander at some point.

an extra scarf and I was fine on my landrover today

It can freeze as much as it likes tomorrow morning as I have a transit van with heated windscreen and mirrors. After that I dont want it to freeze again for a little while!!!

Why all motors are not fitted with these i'll never know :twisted:always loved my fords for this reason you can have 6" of snow on the screen switch on the heater & it's gone in 1-2 mins :D

I love my Freelander for many things - and the heated windscreen is one of them. One of the best things of the Ford era :D
