It'll be a hydraulically lifting roof;  the windows will be uncovered when the top half of the roof is raised up.  You can see the line where it splits on the first couple of interior photos - it's just above the upstairs laminate flooring!  I saw a similar but smaller one in Norway recently, and longer ago in Iceland.  Very nice.  But damned expensive!

If I had the money I'd be driving around the world in one.  BUT...  I took the 101 to many places where that thing wouldn't have been able to get in a month of sundays - narrow tracks, steep mountain pistes, ferries across rivers, jungle tracks.  So it's not all good news, smaller is often better.

the best thing is you can drive it on a car licence as it is a camper and you cant carry goods
yeah - but the UNLADEN weight may get you, so that you still need a HGV licence

only if you past your test after 1997 anyone with the c1 cat can drive it but it wont effect me as i have my C+E
only if its UNDER 7500 kgs..over that you still require a C catagory pass

There are lots of different versions, but there is a limited choice for a standard licence (makes them cheaper too!)

You can have one like this http://www.unicat.net/en/info/GTC45light-2007.html for 165,000Euros or £130.938

Think I'll have one from next months wages!!
