Been snowing here in Cumbria as well, although nothing to actually make a difference, just a little bit in the air lol.

heavy falling snow near northampton and was settling too and now it has moved south to my home where there is a light spinkling on the florbut stil cold outside and drizzling/snowing.

I have predicted since april/may that we will get a cold winter with lots of snow. My predictions may be true!

Had about 2-3 inches of snow in Warks- started to melt quite quickly though. I booked the day off work to dismantle and move a kitchen in the Hilux- could of done without the snow snow hampering the job though! Must admit I'm amazed to see so much lying snow in October- and they were the BIGGEST snowflakes I've ever seen.

drove from pembs yesterday back home and it was snowing on the cambrian mountains roads were white round ponterwyd

dad phoned bout 3pm saying it was snowing heavily but it was wet so it didnt stick

gutted!

3 inches of snow all day in our field near hertford so spent a happy half hour this afternoon making the 127 go sideways, nearly ended in tears though... got given a fiver for towing a van up an iced up hill as well :D

We had snow on the roads this morning, no sooner had I passed a car whos driver had been unable to stop before sliding, quite forcefully, into a skip, than I myself fell pray to the rubbish road tyre/compacted snow combination that sent me sliding towards a junction with a main road. :?

It had all gone by lunchtime though, and its raining now  :'(

It snowed in london in October for the first time since 1932 or something, I missed it as I was in my hotel room watching spooks.

The nice irony was it snowed on a climate change summit at the commons.
