Srrange thing about "don't ask about reserve", I always tell people the reserve so they know if there is any point being interested or not. I would suffix that with the auction will run. because at the end of the day if the resrvere is say Â£1000 and the highest bid is Â£995 id rather let them know so they can make the extra Â£5. Id let it run though because reserve is reserve, "not lowest offer id take"
