Post by: Mr Alford on November 09, 2008, 15:14:28
i need to extend my brake lines, i have two lines per brake per side compared to some who just have the one

i am intreagued as to what tubing to use or weather the braided lines extended 40mm will be enough?

i am going for a new suspension setup on the front, bearmach springs, i already have -2" turrents and im going to add dislocation cones

i have noticed bull frog has done this, what had been used and is it any good?

You need to get the brake flexis made up, not a DIY job.  That said you can get  Goodridge hoses (others are available) made to pretty much any length your heart desires.

I got mine form Matt Savage.

Mine are +4" Goodrich braided and came as a set from Paddocks.  They were around £50 for 5, (4 front and 1 rear)

As said above you can get them made to any size, but I took the 'off the shelf' option.

I got mine from Llama 4x4 nice blue ones and I did away with the steel bits that are fitted to the caliper as they were very rusty.  :D

I think they were £11 each any length up to 1 mtr. with swivels at the top so they don't kink when you tighten the up.

Good service too
