Title: 200tdi oil pressure
Post by: baron von ledwidge on November 10, 2008, 12:23:37
Basically i am a series owner not a disco one, but a mate of mine has offered me an engine from his 200tdi discovery that has low oil pressure, he has tried a few things to cure it but with no joy, new oil pump etc.  I was planning on sorting the engine and sticking it in my series and was wandering if there were any common causes for oil pressure drops, bearing in mind the engine will be out of the vehicle what is the rebuild procedure like?
sorry for the broadness of the questions

If a new pump has not sorted it i would check the bigend bearings thats what my lack of pressure was
