Title: headlight connection where can i buy?
Post by: bambamjj on November 16, 2008, 20:12:00: Hi all

turn the lights on and the connector on the back of the front lights smokes quite dramatically and is now all melted.

Anyone klnow where i can buy connector and crimps?

Post by: Disco_Stu on November 16, 2008, 21:19:06: I had the same problem and took one off a spare disco in my mates yard in the dark. When I got it back into the workshop it was melted as bad as the one I was taking off.

Scratching my head for a minute I realised its not a landrover part - any car using 3 pin halogens of that type uses the same connection. I promptly whipped one off a Citroen and voilÃ , le Disco sorted :)

That's good to know. Mine look like they may have been "warm" at some time.
