Does anyone know where you can buy it from? I need some for a very modified 90 V8i. Cheers
-
The motorsport suppliers like Demon Tweeks / Merlin Motorsport stock it.

Cheers Tim (Its Ash here, we seem to be crossing paths alot recently!!!) so thanks for that. I'll get some ordered and make this V8 stop sounding like a tractor!! and more like a beast

Saw a nice bobtail rangy the other week, his exhaust was this piping, but his back bumper was a 2 inch hollow pipe mounted across the back, the flexi was then mounted into this pipe, and the fumes came out of the ends of the bumper
I'll have a dig around to see if i can grab a pic of the vid footage I took

Cheers Kev, that sounds great. Im running a hybrid with zero over hang so that sounds right up my street. Any pics would be a great help!!

we buy flexi pipe from the local auto suppliers, as 1/5th the prices as Demontweeks/motec, cost about £15 for two meters and is very nice for replacing the front flexi joint on the disco's.

Can you tell me which local supplier as Im struggling to find it anywhere at the moment!! Cheers

Neat concept, but dangerous. After a run the bumper will be hot enough to cause serious burns. It's certainly not a sensible option for a street driven vehicle or anyone who's got kids.

I agree but I would insulate it. Ive run pipes through body panels and up the roll cage before and all have been heavily insulated (very cheap and easy to do) so there would be no risk of heating the cross member. Also that gives risk to metal chassis distortion so again I would not risk that.

I get mine from central auto supplies, not sure if branch close to you try http://www.central-auto.co.uk/

Nice one Ian. They do 2" and 2 1/8" at £20 per 2m plus VAT. MUCH cheaper than Demon and Merlin. Cheers matey, off to make that V8 roar
