Just a blank page saying error??????

I just whent to the home page and whatched the one wiht the scooby going round the building and segway etc. very impressive.
It is easlier to drive very high powered car than less though becuase the slide is more controlable. I found my Elise much easier to balence with a 160bhp mod over the original 118. If you slide a lower power car you can start to "stall" the slide whereas mroe power can keep the rears spinning and sustain the angle. My most amusing one was spinning out during a sprint, keeping my foot down and making it go 360, driving up the track whit the wheels spinning and leaving a huge cloud of smoke to drife over the marshals post much to thier delight. Still managed something like the 4th out of 6 fastest time on that run!

Thats some awesome driving . When I was younger I used to really cane my motors (and I got through a few!), but I've since learned (though a few crashes) that you're either a good driver or you think your a good driver. I'm the latter, and the discos have definatley slowed me down! I still don't really trust myself in a hatchback!

A former protege of the late Mr Colin Mcrae........ If you want to see some real driving have a looky for the video of Mcrae and Block in the finals of the X-Games a couple of years ago.........

Ari Vantanen .........ace driver (nice bloke too)
Loved watching that clip of him driving the 405 T16 up Pikes Peak. It's great when he gets near the summit and turns into the glare from the sun - he just holds his one hand up to shield his eyes and calmly carries on driving with just his left hand on the wheel.
What a rally driver too - He either finished first or crashed out trying to win!
(and that was back in the days of 'proper rallies' - none of this 2.5 days for a WRC event)
-
indeed that is the one i was referring to.
-
Alway a good Video to watch Ari Vantanen on Pikes Peak.
Thanks

I drove up Pikes Peak before they tarmaced most of it and fitted gaurd rails.... my god it would have been scarey to try and do it at speed... it was bad enough at 15mph......... they actually test your brakes temps on the way down, and if they're too hot they make you stop for 15 mins...!!!

The man is a GOD!!!
I didn't think it was humanly possible to drive like that what so ever, he has just set that one straight for me!
As for driving cars like you've stolen them...Been there done that soon as I stuck the big bore on my old Rover 416 (yes I know!) K&N on it with a 6" oval big bore the sound was amazing,I used to be a regular at MFN and there was a couple of people that thought the engine was from a Scooby, FWD and it still used to drift with a quick flick of the handbrake was good fun round a slick roundabout!
Then some numpty decided to reverse without bothering looking and smashed straight into the side, absolutely totalled it...was so gutted as it was a late 21st birthday present!
But I am now quite happy in the fact that my license is quite safe with me owning a Discovery!!!
