Too right, I would have told him to "Freeze" which seems appropriate, nipped home got my 4x4 (Assuming SWMBO has let me have a new one) and then driven over....
That's the easier option I'm sure.
But I will say, I have seen "Fail to stops" but never "Fail to Go"
