hello
i have a vit lwb have fitted spring spacers all round but looks lower at rear think the rear springs may be week any suggestion on what springs to fit at low budget to give me a little more height

go for a pair of rover 600 rear springs
they give about 2-3" of lift on a swb so shud give ya half on a lwb version

not yo sure tbh
for a guess id say a hatch back as id of thought it was slightly heavier on the rear

have managed to get hold of some spring cheep
but have thrown away the rubber washer spacer that was there before fitting the spacers
do i need to refit some more or will it be ok without

you should really fit the spring seats mate, ul notice the differance, ive got loads lying around, but im in surrey :'(

there is also a rumour that some merc springs will fit the vitara fronts
ill see if i csn find out which they are

Merc C180 (W202) front springs, cut down, gives 2" of lift on a swb, 1,5" on a lwb

Excellent, thanks, got an old Vit and was wondering what to do with it, may have some ideas now (if time allows lol)
