OK, Here goes.
For a while now my clutch has been dragging occasionally, usually just after i've started for the first few miles.
As my clutch is new ish (18 months) i've put this down to a seal at the back leaking oil onto the clutch plate, clutch warms up and burns it off and its fine.
But last week I was checking it over for MOT and noticed that the clutch fluid level was low, so i've topped it up. So my question is.........................
is there any way the clutch fluid is leaking onto the clutch plate? as that would account or my symptoms.

Very much doubt any clutch fluid could get onto the clutch plate, whats more likely i suspect is that you have a slight weep in the slave cylinder..... which is somehow healing when warmed up..... new one anyday i reckon!!

as disco.ron said change the slave mine did that and weeped fluid into the bellhousing its a quick fix for under £20

OK, Cheers guys ;)

Be careful what slave you buy - some are rubbish. Genuine slaves are relatively cheap, Bearmach ones are nice solid cast iron, other makes are alluminium.

Clutch dragging could be a symptom of weak synchros, once the gearbox oil has warmed up the oil is thinner and the synchros grip better.
