Hi all,
I’m after some advice. I have fitted a 200 tdi engine and box from a disco into my N/A 90. I have used the disco bell housing so my engine sits nicely forward. I managed to bodge the exhaust together using the down pipe from the disco and welding it to the rest of my original n/a system. Not ideal but funds were tight at the time and it seemed the easiest option.
My problem is that now the exhaust is exhausted. Can anyone advise me what would be the best way to fit a new one. Can I buy a front pipe for a disco and somehow mate it to the mid section of a 200 tdi defender system or do I need to have something fabricated. I need to replace the whole system so if any of you could offer me any advise I would be very grateful.

The front pipe from a Disco will have the flexi foint that help NVH, IIRC and might be longer than the Defender part :-k

I've not seen a flexu joint in a Disco front pipe... well, not on a 200 anyway........ is there not a special downpipe you can buy....

Thanks for the link, but I was thinking of replacing the exhaust not buying shares in the company

Ah, might be just the 300 TDi then. In that case it should be easier.
