Title: uninstalling media player

How do I uninstall windows media player on vista? It isnt under the add remove programs list.

Reason I want to uninstall it is so I can reinstall it and then see if channel 4 watch again programs play.  :evil:

There should be an option on add remove preogrammes to add and remove windows items. It might be in the title bar. Its on the left hand side on xp. But i havnt got my notebook fired up at the moment.

You can't uninstall it as it's part of Vista, you can only disable it.

Try going back to an earlier date using system restore. Found in All Programs, Accessories, System Tools,System Restore. I just had to go back a fortnight on mine as it would'nt open at all.

unfortunately it hasnt played ch4 watch again since I got the computer a few weeks ago so cant scroll back to a time it worked. :(

I have a feeling that you might be missing the plugin that will enable c4 to work. Try looking on the FAQs on C4's website, they should tell you. My guess is that your security programs are blocking the installation of the plugin.
