thats a find alright, not only that car there was 2 more, what a happy new year

Sorry but if that was miine I'd have to take it for a spin before I sold it. Love to keep it but imagine the cost of insurance. I guess the £millions will help resore the Aston and E-Type though :)
Funny, the auctioneer knew about the car for a couple of years :-k so it was hardly forgotten about

I know of a Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer which has been parked up (inside) since the late 1970's. There is a (very) remote chance I might one day be able to get my hands on it, but could I afford to restore/run it?

A 512? The engine alone would cost 5 figures to have professionally rebuilt!

...so....
.....could I afford to restore/run it?
...the answer would be no then
I don't think there is anything wrong with it as such, it was just parked up one day when it was just a year or two old and then never used again, so the engine might be OK. Who am I kidding, even if it did come to me (and the chance it would is very remote), I bet even doing simple repairs would be painfully expensive and so beyond me.

why dont we ever find anything like that. i do some work for an old lady , she has something in her garage . but from what i can see its an old clio .. not good ..

I suspect the Bug was owned by a family that was 'above average wealth' to start with, given the company that Grandad kept ;)
