Title: changing tyre valve question

Hi dont know if in right section but here it is anyway!
iv got a dodgy valve only the cap holding air in, iv got tubeless tyres can i just jack up vehicle so tyre off ground release air, change valve and re-inflate?
or being tubeless will i need to do something else?
prob a silly question but know nothing about tyres! cant weld or grind them u see  :twisted:

If it's the sprung bit inside then I don't see why not ... :D

as long as it is the sprung bit not the rubber bit they only go in from the inside... :-k

Yes just get the little screw driver type tool to take the valve out, dont look over it as you do it as the valve will fly out at tremendous speed, also dont look at the valve as the air is coming out, if you dont get crap in your eye the high pressure can actually freeze your eyeball  :lol:
Father inlaw manages and industrial tyre fitters, told me a new lad did it a couple of months ago  :doh:

Ah good stuff, and thanks for warnings too, a frozen eyeball can't be good!
