hi there a mate of mine has been qouted £500 to weld a new x member to his 90, that is labour only cash job, recons it will take 2 days sounds a bit pricey to me what do you think  :roll:

£400 - £500 seems the going rate but that is with the new cross member.

If you take your time a measure twice well three times on this and know someone who can weld its an easy job TBH, oh yes and a bit of soldering.

did mine in about half a day

sounds pricey to me too I did one in a day and charged £300 plus xmember :)

Andys Landys in Coventry will do the job about 350. It takes them two days given a clear run at it.

I've just had it done.

SOUNDS LIKE ROBIN HOOD IS IN TO WELDING THESE DAYS. WISH SOMEONE WOULD PAY ME 500 NOTES. I WOULD DO 2 ADAY ,EVERY DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  MY GAS IS ON N ME GUNS IN ME HAND!!!!!!!!

Hi, i charge £500 all in, thats supply and fit, and paint after,  :grin:
