Well its minus something silly outside and I was getting some logs in for the fire when I dropped one as I was going through the front door and it hit the step to the UPVC door and smashed the step to bits!
How annoying is that!!! I have taped it up with a bit of gaffer tape to keep the water out. The only plus side is I have a bit of old UPVC Facia board that will fit a treat and I should be able to fix it.
I guess it one of them things back to the old DIY i gess LOL

UPVC gets very brittle when it's cold. Perhaps you cold get a new door out of the house insurance :-$

Did think about an insurance claim, but they will put up my premiums so its hardly worth it. Can fix it my self for free, so will give it a go!

Boggert, we got a new telly last year and it's not effected either the premium or a quote form the Nationwide. Seems you get to make an occasional one if you've been paying a premium for a few years :-k
