Guys I know this sounds stupid.. I have finally got all the right pieces on.
it has been 2 slave cylinders and about 5 steel pipes..
describe the exact process to bleed it? what i have been doing using.. one of those one man bleeding kits is.. attach the bleeding hose.
loosen bleed nipple. make sure reservoir is full.. and pump clutch like avery other second smoothly. whilst making sure that reservoir remains fullish. (thus not letting air back into the system) and some times i can see fluid going down the pipe but then it just stops.... why?

it wouldn't bleed because it was on axle stands :oops:

Usually take 3 people - one in the car working the clutch pedal, one keeping the fluid topped up, and one operating the nipple on the cylinder. I reckon you neither need to put you finger over the nipple or have a pipe and a bottle half full of fluid on the end.

ahhh that is useful, i am just about to do this as my slave cylinder gave out at a trial the other week, not fun having to turn the engine off to select reverse, hehehe.

Some advise that i would have liked when i initially started mine (cheers Fruitloop)..
1) pull the hose to the top of the engine bay and attach the slave cylinder to the dampener. then the whole thing into the bellhousing.
2) Tighten the steel pipe in to the slave cylinder and the dampener at the same time. or you will end up [!Expletive Deleted!] up the pipe (like me :oops:)

Hey there, i have heard that there is no need to refit the dampner, it this a myth or is it possible, i have also been told thatit works better without the dampner.

The damper is a PITA, but it's there for a reason.
