Title: on choke its very fast

on my Samurai Sport 1994 model which i just brought when its cold it runs at mega speed like a quarter power but when warm its perfect is this right it seems scary when cold

what is the rev counter showing when the choke is on? and what is it showing without the choke on when warm?Lee

when started 1700rpm then 10 secs on 2800 then 5 mins later 1500 then normal running 850
