Hi ya
I wonder if anyone can cast some light on this problem? [-o<
My Disco II's indicators are messing me around... They are working, but only after a delay. You put the stalk up, and half a second they start flashing on the right. Put the stalk down, and you have to wait a whole second before the lights start flashing...
All the bulbs light, I just don't know what is going on. ](*,)
Help
Thanks

Ed,
this may seem a little strange, but worth a try.
Turn the ignition to position 2 and leave it for 5 mins without cranking the engine... Maybe brew yourself a coffee while you wait..!!!
this is supposed to reset the BCU to IDM link (which controls the Instrument Pack)
Cheers

Ed,
Mine does exactly the same thing - but only when the weather is cold (near to or below 0)..........I reckon the relay must be sticking, as once the inside of the Disco has warmed up slightly the indicators work fine !
One of these days I'll identify which relay it is, and replace it, but for now I just have to remember to 'indicate' a couple of seconds earlier than I would normally
