what does the term 750s mean in tyres?????? :embarrassed:
-
if Im right 7.50 I think its the tyr width like on cars they usualy put eg 230 width- 70 profile or hight--- 16 which is the circumference
-
what it means is the with of the tyre as carracarra13 says, but it was not explained exactly
7.50 is inch's so is "Old money" so to speak
235 is mm's
and each section on the tyre means
235 = with of the tyre tread. 85 = % of width. 16 = rim diametre
-
On imperial sized tyres (7.50 = 7.5 inches) it is, I believe, the width of the tyre at it's widest point not necessarally the tread width.
-
i wonderd about that 1 to
-
this site (http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible.html) explains everything :D
