Title: reaar crossmember identification
Post by: automania on February 08, 2009, 11:51:47: can anyone tell me what this crossmember is for 90 or 110, are they interchangeable? need one for my 90, cheers

Post by: Les Henson on February 09, 2009, 05:09:05: They are not interchangeable as far as the extensions go - a 110 has a deep sweep in the chassis rail behind the crossmember, whereas a 90 is quite shallow. The crossmember itself is the same as far as I know.

But i am looking at replacing my rear crossmember to! Any advise on which one to go for?? & does anyone know what "SPI" quality stands for :huh: :huh:

Post by: Les Henson on February 10, 2009, 10:01:41: SPI is (or rather was) a manufacturer of decent quality outriggers/crossmembers, etc. I think they have gone bust though now. Bearmach crossmembers are 'ok', then there is BritPart, or genuine (genuine crossmembers don't come with extensions though).
