Hi,
I have the lamps, indicators, grill and lower brows for a conversion from 300 to 200 lights and have searched for any guides of how to do it on here and can't find any! Has anyone done it and does anyone have any pics and tips?
Cheers,
Rob

I have a kit of appropriate bits to do it but haven't started yet. It also contains templates of where to drill (?) to fit 300 lights etc.
I'll take pics as I do it (hopefully this week-end) if no-one else answers your questions

Templates sound interesting... :-k

Watching with interest as I'm fed up with the dull orange glow comming from my head lights
is there any trimming of the wings to be done???
-
The actual wings don't, just the bracket that the headlight mounts on needs cutting and drilling.

Any news George?

I was going to take a template from a 300 and drill the holes on mine. In the end I cut the pannels from the 300 and welded them to my 200. Had to cut the support piece from below the 200 headlight surrounds and make the little brackets that the 300's have on the wing edge. Its not hard though.

The quickest method to improve the output of the 200's lights is to put relays into the circuit and feed them via fuse from the battery, this improves out put and stops the stork switch from frying, if you then use the improved bulbs you get good head lights without, having to alter the external looks of the Disco, well it worked on mine

I've got all the lights and grill and quite like the look of the 300 lights, just need to know how much to chop out!

theres a disc on ebay tells you how to and what you need to do it for 9.99 someone must have done it?
