Title: Interior Mirror
Post by: karlo on February 10, 2009, 09:47:45
I have a Auto dipping rear View mirror which has gone belly up, Does anyone know how to remove it as I don't want to break anything for when I get a replacement?

On the RRC there's a small grub screw that secures the arm of the mirror to a bonded glass pad stuck to the screen, the grub screw is probably hidden from view by the mirror.

It appears you have to remove the map pockets and the sunroof ecu to get to the wiring then a sharp tap downwards on the mirror.

Do you still have the mirror plastics - I need just the back of the mirror?
Thanks
