Title: Second batery in a 300tdi auto 1
Post by: robdog on February 11, 2009, 21:16:10
Hi there I have a safari snorkel fitted to my mk 1 disco I have bought a leisure battery to run my winch and lighting etc but in order to fit it in the tray where the jack would go I need to move the power steering reservoir. Due to the way that the safari snorkel connects to the air filter box it does not seem to leave anywhere for it to move to. Does any one have any ideas or photos?

I didn't have to move the power steering bottle for my second battery

That's not as big as the OE battery is it? if you fit a "normal" car sized battery or the smaller leisure battery then you do have more space.

The one I have is a 110ah large one. It can just fit in between radiator and side wing.
