ARB, nothing else is the same and I dislike Detroits because they are locked up unless youhave enough grip for them to unlock, so ARB, ARB or ARB, failing that a truetrac.

Ditto. Never had any problems with the ARBs in ASBO, except whenI kept catching the airline and splitting it.

I've melted 2 on the exhaust during "flexing" so I routed it differently.  Hardly a reason not to buy an ARB though. route exposed sections through a bit of narrow hose pipe and all is well.  You can get away with using a 12volt tyre pump to run ARBs for a while if funds are tight BTW.

Mine came down the a frame, and at certain angles of flex as you callled it it was enough just to pinch the airline and put apin [ed - prod with a sharp implement] hole in it.
