Title: Door Hinges
Post by: Martin110 on February 18, 2009, 21:55:49
Does anyone know how to change the pins in door hinges or do you need to by a whole new hinge as my passenger door has dropped and doesnt align with the catch plate properly causing the door to have a life of its own.

Any advice would be ace!

The aftermarket hinges are pretty cheap. Might be just as easy to replace the whole thing.

For example:

Are they just standard bolts you can just undo or are there any clicks or circlips that need undoing?

Whadda you mean ?........the bolts that secure the hinges to the door/A-post - they go through the door skin and frame, and there are nuts on the other side. From memory, some you can get at without removing the door card, but some you need to take the door card off  :undecided:
