Title: P38 DSE any good
Post by: loyalduke on March 04, 2009, 19:08:51
Are the P38 diesels any good V reg with less than 50k on clock and 1 owner. Lots of bad stories are they all true.  :-k

Would be tow vehicle and a bit of green laning and hopefully a trip to Morocco next year sometime

Is a Disco TD5 a better bet as an all rounder. Just I prefer the split rear and comfort a RR offers as my old bones are not what they were

Try driving one.  When I did it drove like a barge;  all the performance of a dustcart.  So I bought a 4.6V8 instead.  And ended up selling that and buying a Discovery TD5.  So you can guess what my answer would be.

Its not a racing car but  have no complaints; it will old motorway speeds quite happily and tows o problems.
People with V8's always knock them but the RR is an immense car and with the diesel you get BMW Engineering as well.
