Title: disc change
Post by: ronttuk on March 05, 2009, 18:53:26
has anyone got an exploded diagram of front and rear axles for a 2001 td5 disco?

my friend needs new brake pads he has a 1.5-2mm lip on the discs is it worth changing the discs aswell?

are the discs easy to change or do you have to remove 1/2 shafts etc ?

discs are easy to do, remove brake caliper, undo screw securing disk to hub and it slides off

you might need the assistance of a No 4. persuader to get the discs off if they are rusted on.
