It should be a garrett T25

if you look on top of the turbo where the oil feed goes in there should be a tag with all the details on there,
i would strongly advise NOT to rebuild it yourself but have a company like Turbo Dynamics overhaul it for you,

Currently looking to fot either a T28 from a nissan pulsar or a T3 from a cossie to my 90 toi give it a bit more boost

i would be contacting the "reconditioner" & seeing what they have to say......
Then again having delt with  well know turbo company that supplied a customer a fancy turbo which had been fitted & the engine started 1/2 dozen times in a year whilst other work was being carried out, when it started leaking oil they turned round & said tough,
where is it leaking oil from?

it sounds like the "seals" on the exhaust side are leaking, is the engine using oil heavily? when my original tubby died & fitted a genuine garrett one & so far has lasted 3 years running at 22psi of boost
