whats going on i have noticed in the last few days that there has been alot of putting other members down or there ideas or just having a go i joined this forum to get help with my 4x4 or to try and help others this is what i thought this site was for but it seems to be getting like a playground.

i only check it a few times a week now.
straying over to slightly better forums now... i suggest you look around a bit  ;)

I agree, seems to be an internet thing, like blackerry vs iphone, mac vs pc, etc etc.

I feel we all spend too much time sat on here when we could be out in our 4x4s or at least in the garage fixing them.
Its easy to get on for 5 mins then spend the rest of the night chatting.

I've been a member since quite early in the clubs life and this has happened before. But we picked ourselves up and got on with it. The membership changes and people come and go. But overall, I still think this is one of the friendliest 4x4 forums around. Some of the rants that go on elsewhere make this place seem like the church of england.... Ok bad example!

I LOOOOOOOOOVE CAKE!  But sadly rudeness amongst othe Land Rover owners is not just confined to the forum.  A couple of Sundays ago I received a very different sort of "Landy wave" from the passengers of a red Def truck cab, it implied that I was a "<EDIT>", well I was bemused because as you can see I am a lady and just don't do it that way!  Their vehicle was a heap of <EDIT> but there was no need to be so jealous!  It was on the roundabout, St Neots A428.
