Title: alternator wireing

is it a good idea or bad idea to run an extra feed wire from back of alternater to starter motor conection point for amps reason for loading situation for running winches etc

It won't make any improvement to the standard set up. It will only add to wiring in engine bay which is not fuse protected, so definitely not a good idea.

the round black bit on back of solenoid where wires bolt onto is designed to melt away if over loaded
