Has anyone used the deflex suspension bushes sold by paddocks ? I am swapping axles and I want to rebush the rear while im at it.

^^^ what he said.. been there, done that, would rather pay the extra for Polybush or Superpro.

The full britpart items that paddocks supply are not made by britpart, and are actually not bad quality.

Had no problems with mine and they have been on for 3 years

TBH I've not had any probs with my deflex bushes. They've been on 3 years and about 9000 road and off-road miles. Have used polybush in the past and would recommend them (I didn't have enough money for polybushes when I put the deflex on).

If you've got the money superpro have had a lot of good write ups in the magazines and do appear to be good quality kit. ;)

I've made several post with pictures on this forum before (search function ;)) about delfex bushes on (and off) both mine and friends trucks. I suppsoe it depends what you are expecting, if you were expecting something like a Poly Bush or Super Pro then you will not be satisfied. Deflex bushes will hold the axles in place thought I found they; significantly reduced articultation, didn't fit well (some crush tubes too short and others deformed), didn't look nice up close (air holes in the plastic) and the delfex bushes for the top of the rear dampers would be more appropriate on a clown car as they were way to big to fit. A friend did manage to get these on with the later mount which held the bush with a nut rather than split pin, but the result was the top of the dampers got ripped rather quickly off the first time he used them off road.

im just in the process of fitting this kit and i had no instructions or part numbers to notify me of what bushes are for what etc..
Some seem a little to large for where they have to go so ill have to fightwiththem tomorrow and try to get them to fit.

They should be too hard to work out what goes where take out.
The 12 little cylindrical bushes are for the damper pin mounts.
The 4 tapered bushes are fopr the top of the rear dampers (if its these that seem too big then bush have a laugh about it and then fit some new standard rubber bushes in place of these instead).
The 4 for the radius arms to chassis and the 4 for trailing arms to chassis are pretty unique in design.
That leaves the top hat shaped bushes (2 top hats and a crush tube per bush). The littlest pair of these are for the panhard rod. The 4 big top had bushes are for the radius arm to axle. This leaves 2 other sizes of top hat bushes for the rear suspension. IIRC the pair which are larger diameter and but narrower are for the A frame to chassis and the wider but smaller diameter pair are for the trailing arm to rear axle.

yeah it aint hard to work out but it would be nice to have a part number or someting on it just for your referance.
i still aint had chance to fit them this weekend having trouble starting my new V8 to worry about fitting bushes.
