cluch done service history new lift pump cleaned sediment filter but it seems to lack that boost turbo ok it sound it anyway

You could check that the intercooler is clean, not full of oil ( from your old engine ? ), might also be worth rechecking the timing. If still no better fit a boost gauge, then you can see what the boost is and go from there.

i agree with the above, also put some redex in, might be clogged or stuffed injectors.

Yup been there, I cleaned the intercoolr out, fitted a boost gauge and did the valve clearances - an afternoons job, it turned out everything was ok, but when i checked the timing the following day it was one tooth out and that made ALL the difference.
All the above are easy simple things to do, why not have a go?
-
done all the above but not the boost gauge taking by that you mean turbo boost it does come in later than the old engine and im not sure weather the fuel pump was tweeked i know i never done it so will try boost gauge and change air filter as well forgot to do it
-
did the new lump come complete? if so you could tweek the boots and wastgate

if you mean cambelt brian it was done already my brother did it found it cause i think a fuel weep from one of the pipes that go to the lift pump and one helper only put one bolt in the engine mount causing it to slip to one side and puting the prop out so fgoing fine now i hope nearly caught on fire todat the black and yellow wire from the pre heat relay fell down and hit manifold and burnt threw lots of smoke and damaged wire to the relay but got to it in time was a shock seeing bellows of smoke coming from under the bonnet
