on and off, the air-con belt seems to start slipping and squealing like a pig (well, kind of  )
Is the tensioner automatic, or manually adjusted? I.e. does it need tightening, or do I have a problem with the tensioner?
Or, something else

Has this been going on for a while or since Whaddon ?

Today is the first day I've switched it on in a long while.
It's had a new belt and wheel thingy (cos it got clogged up with Bramcote mud and sha**ed the bearings  ), but I haven't had cause to use it until today.

Funny, when I operate the "air con" in the Rangie there's no squealing, but my hat gets blown off in the breeze, unless I operate the rear "air con" too.
-

Rear aircon? I only know one type!!!!!!!! :(bigshock): :(biggrin):

Take the belt off, clean the pulley up with a bit of WD40.. might just have picked up some muck at the weekend.

I had a look today and found the belt to be rather loose. I've tightened it but haven't had chance to try it yet...
