Title: disco alarm

hi, anyone know where the control box might be on a disco 300tdi. 96. i took the center dash to bits expecting it to be there but nope.any ideas where else they could be put.? cheers

its in th passanger footwell, behind the black card trim, if you sit in the seat your left toe's point to it  :grin:

i had a look there mate but couldnt see it. i got a replacement one and its a single plug, i found a box where you describe today, a black plug and a white one, both taped up, i re connected these but nothing happened, i have no alarm or central locking, havent had any since i got the car. cheers.

That looks like the alarm spider to me - lives behind the centre dash (mounted on a big lump of metalwork so it's not immediately obvious, but there are photos on the web showing where it is).

Main purpose seems to be to develop dry solder joints and cause your car to cut out randomly!  :lol:
