Title: Load bay dimensions
Post by: Cal on April 21, 2009, 12:57:02
Hi all,

Does anyone have to hand the load bay dimensions for 90 vs 110 CSW vs 110 double cab? I can't find them on the land rover website. I'm guessing they are all fairly similar with the 110 CSW being the biggest?

Thanks,

Cal

i havent got the dimensions, but a 90 hardtop has 1844 litres of space while seating 2, a 90 staion wagon has 1243 and seats 5ish, a 110 hard top seats 2 and has a capacity of 3062 litres, a double cab seats 5 takes 1644litres and a 110 station wagon seats between 8 and 12 and 1326  litres, altough if you dont have any passengers it will take nearly as much as the van. hope this is some help.

Just by way of explanation am trying to gauge if I did get a 90 as an everyday motor, would it be big enough, and then separately if I went for a 110 is there much of a difference between the load area on the CSW or double cab - obviously the double cab is an open storage area and may potentially require the purchase of some sort of secure lid...

Unfortunately as usual with me this is all at the theoretical stage  but I have always wanted a defender so am doing all the planning in advance!
