working from key, fob or both?

I had an intermittent problem on my 300, turned out to be a dodgy wire on the locking actuator in the drivers door. I believe this is the master unit, and if not working then none of them work. I got a replacement cheap enough on eblag, and all has been OK since?

This may seem obvious but have you checked the fusebox, located under the steering column?

When i had a sticky actuator it blew the fuse and stopped all the doors locking/unlocking

Ive now fixed the problem by removing the fuse and the doors stay exactly how i left them be locked or unlocked

from what i remember, its a bit of a pain to fit, you need to be able to bend you hands in places that they wont, otherwise just a couple of screws. But i would wait for any other suggestions before trying?

good luck either way
