Hello, long time no see all!
Good news for anyone who remembers me! Daniel got fixed after his major melt-down; ended up taking the engine to bits with a contact at work, turns out that the flange broke and got in amongst the belt and caused a bit of a mess, some really bent rods etc but got away without the head going or anything.
Anyway, that was all a few months ago now and the great news is that he is running really well. In between, I've not had a chance to really get on with anything else :oops:) but need to get my arse in gear over the summer. One of the things I'd like to know is whether anyone can recommend a good paintshop? I know the colour I want to go for... just need somewhere to get it done and a rough idea of cost. It would help if it was in Scotland or Northern England, but I'll travel if I need to, to get a good job done...
