That could be interesting. I wonder if there is anything in the constitution of the UK, where a vote of 'no confidence' in the Government could actually work?
Perhaps a return to ruling by a monarch? Hmm.
If Gollum Brown steps down, who would take his place? Everybodies favourite Darling? :shock:

"In theory" there can be a vote of no confidence to force a General Election (well I vaguely remember something about it from school??)
I seem to remember that it involves an attempt by the Government to get a bill through Parliament, and if it is resoundly voted against then that can force a General Election.
Of course, if a Government thinks this will happen they won't present the bill!!
