Title: Fitting CD player to Disco with dash controls
Post by: landyman Ash on March 20, 2005, 19:26:06
Ive got a Disco 300tdi and its got the standard stereo thats takes some retro music device called "cassette tapes"

I want to put some sort of CD player in it BUT i would like to keep the dash controls (volume particularly) but Im not sure if thats possible.  Does anyone know?  I dont think the radio can take a multi changer but I know alot of discos do have them.

Any ideas of thought greatfuly received!

Hi mate if you fit a after market unit Autoleads do a cable that will let you use the streering controls.

The standard unit I beleave is made by Clarion or it might be philips depending on year. It might be possible to fit a CD unit to the standard radio you'll have to ask a dealer I think to check your head unit.
