Hi, Contary to what you say above -the Plain is not allways open) it all depends on troop movement, and exercise plans, all areas are liable to be closed at short notice depending on above, allways best to ring Westdown to get the latest info any kind of live fireing means that only the Eastern side is available ,also please remember that the Mud-Club follows the Glass laning code so getting lots of people to turn up is a no no unless you travel in groups of 4 trucks with leaders who know the area , enjoy your day out there are 380 miles to explore,ATB

sounds like a plan. What part of the plain would you be starting at, i live right on the east end of the plain (Everleigh/Tidworth) edge so i usually stay around this area of the plain as i dont know any futher out than that.
-
not sure wherever we can go i got os survey so cant really go wrong
-
yeah i think i got the os salisbury plain Ranger map.. the one with the byways anyway but i usually stick to what i know just from driving about :P. Look foward to meeting and going out on the plains with some other people tbh, not as much fun on my own.
-
