Hi, with the changes (advances ??? ) in tyre technology - what is currently the best tyre for the Disco II?
I've always run mine on the standard Pirelli Scorpion STs 155/55 and been happy with them - but I need to replace all 4 now - so if there is a better option available then now is the time I guess! I notice the STs seem to have disappeared and been replaced by STRs ??? - any good?
Unfortunately I don't get the chance to even get my tyres dirty very often let alone any major off-roading - So they need to be road biased - it's our big-family car and does most family holiday trips and hauling youngsters about for youth club trips :afro:
So any quiet all-terain tyres might work - I prefer the chunky looks but am not happy to sacrifice noise, and fast road stability and handling for it LOL :D
Cheers
Mick :jealous:

BF Goodrich do All Terrains in 18" sizes, and General Grabber do the AT2 in 18" sizes mate.

What about Pirelli Scorpion ATRs - anyone got any experience of those?
I quite like the white sidewall lettering effect do the pirellis have them in the UK? - Most of the pics I can find I think are from the US
