Post by: Saffy on May 22, 2009, 19:52:23
Gave someone a lift yesterday and they killed my LandRover Spider - passenger was a yank too  What's the part number for a new spider?

LRS7133R Genuine parts only, all on back order. Britparts ones don't last as long and die in a week.

Just checked on the Landie spider and found that for the Defender it has been replaced by moss and this is a Genuine part only so VERY costly; similar price to genuine rust hole. :-k

:oops:Sorry didnt mean rust, meant ventilation :-#

I moved a Series II that had been standing for 12 years last weekend.  Not sure if the Series spiders will fit in a Defender, but if you are desperate I can post one.

Series land rover spiders are imperial, Defender ones are metric, they wont fit in the holes correctly.
