Title: Oh what a glorious day!
Post by: Yoshi on June 11, 2009, 15:07:59: Managed to spend £350 today on various bits and bobs!

Spent £210 in B&Q buying a new angle grinder, a reciprocating saw and a mig welder.

Then spent £140 with paddocks purchasing a rear cross member for the 110!

So you can guess whats coming next!

Phoned up me local main stealer for the bolts and captive plates for attaching the rear cross member to the body, £23!!! for 10 small bolts and 5 captive plates!

Oh well, am sure this weekend will be fun :D

I am going to get some scrap metal from local engineering firm so i can practice welding first, as its been a while! lol

sheet alloy +rubber bits + iron ore + fluffy bits + mig welder + grinder = new landrover -£2.50 :thumbup:
